Overview
Cultivate your emotional regulation to navigate external challenges without succumbing to intense negative emotions. Through an in-depth exploration of the brain's mechanisms that govern your emotional responses, the Emotional Edge will equip with you with the necessary tools to achieve the best possible outcomes especially in challenging work based interactions. This workshop is the third of the Developing Personal Power series, consisting of three parts, and may be taken independently as a stand-alone programme or in conjunction with the other two workshops in the series.

  • Working with Robert Plutchik's model of the logical patterns of emotions
  • Adopting a mindfullness-based approach to emotional regulation using the RAIN technique
  • Working with the Mood Map to identify, understand, use, and manage your emotions effectively
  • Using emotional regulation to master your intense emotions that may impair good judgement and decision making
  • Formulating effective, long lasting emotional regulation strategies to tackle challenging work situations
